Diabetes foot assessments

$60.00 - Bulk-billed with GP referral

Once a year at minimum, people with diabetes should have a yearly assessment to determine their overall foot health, with any risks and management options discussed.

Biomechanical Assessments

$60.00 - Bulk-billed with GP referral

A full biomechanical assessment of the lower limb can help determine pathologies and appropriate treatment.

Corn, callus and wart removal

$60.00 - Bulk-billed with GP referral

Painful corns, calluses and warts can be removed using scalpel blades and liquid nitrogen/salicylic acid application.

Home visits for elderly/disabled

$100 - This fee covers the cost of travel and the treatment.

$44 Gap fee if patient has GP referral

For those having difficulty visiting the clinic, a home visit can sometimes be preferable. Home visits are often given to those on home care packages, as well as those with funding support through the NDIS. Please call to enquire as to availability.

Residential Aged Care Facility Visits

$30 per patient - Minimum 5 patients per visit

Over the counter products

Products range from shoe inserts to foot creams. The podiatrist will discuss with you the prices for any items before purchasing.

Orthoses

$500 - This price includes all of the fitting for orthoses and follow up appointments, if any modifications must be made.

Sometimes, lower limb pathologies such as plantar fasciitis may benefit from the use of orthotic therapy. Check your health fund for any possible rebates.

Permanent Ingrown Toenail Removal

$200 - Includes the procedure and two short follow up appointments within 2 weeks of the procedure.

For recurrent ingrown toenails, this is a permanent surgical intervention performed right here in the clinic.
